Shortly, a new PolECulE publication will be released. Its German title “Politik und Wirtschaft bilingual unterrichten” roughly translates as “Bilingual Social Science Education.” The compact volume offers a curricular framework as well as an overview of teaching methods and an exemplary trade unions simulation in which students simulate the collective bargaining process between a steel mill and its employees. While the publication is mainly written in German, the simulation including materials and tasks is mostly held in English, so that it may well be adapted for use in other languages.
